Vester is the Financial Secretary-Treasurer for Bakers Local 57. September 2008 Vester will have 40 years experience in the Baking Industry, with 22 years of Baking Industry Experience ( Kroger 'Columbus' Bakery) including 14 years as Shop Steward, 4 years as Chief Steward and 18 years experience as Officer of Local 57. He was elected in 1990 as Financial Secretary-Treasurer of Bakers Local 57.
He serves on the Baker's Local 57 's Executive Board, BCTGM International Union Executive Board, Cental Ohio Labor Council Executive Board and the East Central States Council Executive Board. Financial Secretary-Treasurer Newsome is a recipient of the George Meany Award.
